PTO Appeal Board Reverses Patent Claim Rejections in Successful SSJR Appeal

March 10, 2014 by in General

SSJR attorneys secured a favorable decision by the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, reversing all rejections of an application directed to a device for guiding a saw blade. The Board agreed with SSJR’s arguments and found that the claimed invention is novel and non-obvious over cited prior art. The Board also reversed the indefiniteness rejections of the claims. Issuance of a patent for all pending claims is expected in due course.
