Another Domain Dispute Win for SSJR Client

On December 12, 2017, the SSJR team of Gene Winter and AnneMarie Provino obtained a favorable decision in a UDRP domain name arbitration proceeding, ordering a transfer of the domain name, AscendCapitalMgmt.Com to its client Ascend Capital, LLC. The National Arbitration Forum agreed with SSJR’s arguments and concluded that the domain in question is confusingly similar to Complainant’s ASCEND CAPITAL® trademark, and that the registrant does not have any legitimate rights in the domain and registered it in bad faith.
